Register for the TBA's Immigration Law Forum

It's not too late to register for this year's Immigration Law Forum taking place in Nashville on May 10, 2023.

The program was designed by and for practicing immigration attorneys from across the state who will speak about their experiences in the areas of family-based immigration, employment and investment-based immigration, crimmigration, and labor law.

Here is a preview of the agenda (in Central Time):

  • 9 am - 10 am: Bean Station Raid of 2018 - Michelle Lapointe, Jazmin Ramirez, William Gill

  • 10:15 am - 11:15 am: Family Immigration Law Trends, Timing, and Packets - Terry Olsen

  • 11:30 am - 12:30 pm: “I just pleaded guilty and later I found out that I might not be able to get a green card because of my conviction—can I take it back now?” - Steven Simerlein

  • 1:15 pm - 2:15 pm: Employment and Investment-Based Immigration Options: How Foreign Direct Investment Leads to Nonimmigrant Worker Visas & Permanent Residence - Kanzi Takayama, Waddell Wright

  • 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Making Sense of the Categorical and Modified Categorical Approaches: A Practical Workshop - Andrew Rankin

We are especially looking forward to the first session, featuring our very own William Gill, which will cover updates from the 2018 Bean Station Raid and the resulting class-action settlement.
