Adelante is a 501(c)(3) non-profit law firm based in Knoxville, Tennessee, which was created as a legal resource for immigrants in deportation proceedings, and particularly those who live in East Tennessee. 

 

Our mission is to bridge the gap between immigrants and the legal community. We provide immigration-related educational services to immigrants, immigrant advocates, students, lawyers, and the larger East Tennessee community grappling with changing immigration policies. We provide pro-bono legal services to immigrants while using the experience as an educational opportunity for lawyers and law students and remain committed to developing a community for current and aspiring practitioners in East Tennessee.
